Can I give you some suggested dates to reschedule (when I'll be in Houston)? I'd like another snowstorm, and they seem to coincide perfectly with your LIM planning. :D

hahaha, sure.

Ok - I freely admitted numerous times before that I ain't that bright. :D Can any of you mileage mavens highlight why AA might not still be the better deal (with the 100K min and 8 vips)? I would have started a thread but didn't feel like taking the abuse. ;)

I'm a nonhub-captive person and am struggling (sincerely! I miss CO) on why I should divert my (purely personal) travel funds back that way. If I'm going to be in it to win it (read: travel or MR up to 100K) then why might AA be a bad choice for me?

I just got my CO holiday greetings e-mail.

I saw the email on my phone but have not opened. I assumed that the gretting included information about SWUs and PPE!! That is a good enough Xmas gift to make up for any bad card!!

I still tend to think AA ExPlat is the best top-tier program out there...

Today's announcement firmly put CO over DL (in my book) and up there with UA.

I should be packing up my things for the move, but instead I am working on my 2010 spreadsheet. Need to get 100k on CO and at least 55k on BD.

With better award availability.

It's hard. You have to do, like, three whole mileage runs, or something. :-:

Depends on where you live and where you want to go. CO has a lot more international flights than AA, particularly to EU.

One of the complaints about AA is its lack of international coverage on its own metal.

ETA: Also, with CO, no MD-80s.

DL has now officially gone from "best in class" to "worst in class". Their SWUs are useless compared to all the others.

I suspect we will be seeing the UA SWUs losing fare restrictions and that excites me since I already have 8 and possibly 10 for next year.
