As long as my students learn, I don't care what they do in the comfort of their own homes. And I'm going to saute some onions with bratwurst.

Tonight's dinner was a bit of a miss mash. Used up the last potato with the olive oil, salt, pepper, rosemary but cooked in the toaster oven instead of a pan. Very nice. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside like a real British chip. With that was chicken breast cut into strips and marinated with jerk spice for about 30 minutes. That was very tasty. The mistake I made was with the onion and mushrooms I had with it. I saulted (sp?) before hand and set them aside. That clashed with the chicken as they didn't have the jerk flavor.

I'm about to do the onions with the brats in the beer.
