Good afternoon in the East.

How do the fancy, white shoe firms such as yours pay you guys when business is light? Minimums against billable, draws against future, or something?

Well .... they could reduce someone's guaranteed compensation by 30% or more hypothetically I suppose.:mad: In all seriousness, this year will be ok not just like the water that flowed three years ago or so. The problem with the market as currently constituted is that work comes in, but it is "one off in nature" and not program based, so it is difficult to forecast. The new reality ...

Indeed, I am quite fortunate. Valued colleagues, friends, family and the like have all suffered in my profession as well as elsewhere. Here is hoping that we "get back to work", all of us very soon!:-:
