Looking at this chart, I think the other shoe to drop for CO is SWU. Perhaps the third () shoe is Hawaii upgrades?

UA has 96 total 752's. Subtract the PS fleet and that's 80-some UA planes with the same F count as our 753's, sometimes more...aren't there some with 26F and some with 24F?

And lets not forget that you can indeed catch a widebody domestically somewhat regularly on UA.
I can't wait to see the shenanigans threads over in UA land. |

reading the united board is funny, people saying things like now people that don't know they are elite will get upgrades over me because i know the system :D
blissworld and channa both have an extreme skewed view of CO, and obviously always book the lowest fares, i had better upgrades as silver than they as 'plat'. |

My personal hangup is that we have folks who used to fly CO, no longer do, come in and, in essence, rant needlessly about the same thing. This is getting old. |

I just laughed at a UA post that mentioned now they have to sweat out the upgrade at the gate. Don't know where that person has been but lately IME most UA upgrades have been last minute anyway if flying from a hub city.

CO giving SWUs wouldn't surprise me. Upgrades on BF-Equipped routes to Hawaii would. UA's F seat and service to Hawaii are virtually indistinguishable from domestic F. CO's BF service to Hawaii on Widebodies and 752s is noticeably different from standard domestic F.

About darn time. Income is good - does this district pay differential pay for the tougher assignments (e.g. Behavioral/Developmental or In-School Suspension) or long-term substituting?

Wish there was a way I could import... having to enter all 800+ flights in by hand one at a time...
At least openflights allows importing for free. When I started my personal FM in 2007, it took about a month to get all of my data entered. |

If you can fly on the off times, off routes and off dates, CO's system is fantastic. If the planes don't break and you make your connection, CO's system is fantastic. However if you don't, then you've got (or at least from my point of view as a Plat on CO, EXP on AA and 1K on UA) a materially inferior product.

There will be plenty more insiders, I promise. Teh Popcorn Cart will start to be wheeled through UA-land every now and again.

It's a company that deals with ~90 districts in the area. They post needs of member districts as they are known - don't have too many details about it yet since the job board on their site is currently empty.

Everyone has their own perspective with biases, preferences, etc. but I'm not sure I would call their view extremely skewed as I've found my CO experience to echo theirs. :(

CO's having to play catch up and I don't think there's any way to argue against that and in the upcoming alliance we have seen (and I suspect we will continue to) CO having to improve itself (on the customer & loyalty front) more than UA. The good news is that CO's is willing to change and adapt and do so in a manner that takes into consideration their stakeholders. They deserve major credit for this IMHO and it's a shame their peers have not adopted a similar philosophy of working with their customers. Sorry for the soapbox and I hope you continue to enjoy an excellent EUA rate. :) |

I particularly like the fact that they listed WN on that chart.
