I have defeated the demons of stupidity and vague answers....I'm now set up with the subbing company.

I abuse it, too, at least in theory (still haven't redeemed anything there, but I'm getting very close). The guy who said in one breath that the existing system was completely fair and in the other that it worked because he was the only one who understood it is the epitome of the problem. Of course, that could apply to CO as well. But we don't claim that it is fair, just that we understand it.

But we have transparency thanks to the pda site. :D

I hate customers.

If you don't want any positioning costs, you can do IAH-ORD-CLT-BNA for $517++ on UA.

There's also teh Tampon Run.

Hope and change has come to CO!

Maybe CO has won the Fields medal for their algorithms in sorting elites and just doesn't know it yet.

Only to the insiders.

There will be plenty more insiders, I promise. Teh Popcorn Cart will start to be wheeled through UA-land every now and again.

Assuming US still operates equipment with F cabins on CLT-BNA, yes. I haven't checked in a while. This fare has been around for over a year.

CO sent me an e-mail to sign-up for an eye tracking study in the Galleria area. They pay $75 for an hour long study... Not sure it's worth the drive to the Galleria though.

About darn time. Income is good - does this district pay differential pay for the tougher assignments (e.g. Behavioral/Developmental or In-School Suspension) or long-term substituting?

There are one or two a day (depending upon day of the week) - those are the only *A mainline flights to BNA.

Scratch that. Looks like UA have gone and tweaked the routing rules.

How far is the distance and how many errands could one compress into that trip / drive?

The better half could go with me and go shopping, therefore spending the $75.

It's only ~5 miles but the traffic around there is

it would be nice if UA (and even CO when the time comes) offered SWUs (even if it's just one) for every 10k flown per quarter (a la CR-1s for 1Ks). I flew those miles every quarter just to collect the CR-1s so keeps people flying.

Looking at this chart, I think the other shoe to drop for CO is SWU. Perhaps the third () shoe is Hawaii upgrades?

I don't think that's a productive use of errand time ...
