Read the UA "free upgrades" thread from beginning to end (appropriately, the last post I read, and one of the most reasoned, before chucking it in was ConciergeMike's). It took them up to post 111 before it began to sink in that maybe this was going to *have to* happen to synch up with CO, in spite of sbm12 putting that straight out many posts earlier.

The most interesting thing to me was the wailing about it becoming harder for the employees to fly in F. That sort of thinking is indicative of the United that I knew and loathed, and the one that the employees helped push to the brink of insolvency.

I got this one dead wrong, and HeathrowGuy nailed it. Someone posted earlier that maybe he should get a Nobel. ;) I don't think so; maybe the Field medal in mathematics, since he added it up and got the right result.
