Can't really blame them if they're ticked about losing CR-1s. I have a bunch of CR-1s banked and I guess I need to use them before Q2.

reading the united board is funny, people saying things like now people that don't know they are elite will get upgrades over me because i know the system :D

blissworld and channa both have an extreme skewed view of CO, and obviously always book the lowest fares, i had better upgrades as silver than they as 'plat'.

It's starting to come out that some of them are most upset about their knowledge of gaming the system becoming useless. That thrills me to no end.

I just laughed at a UA post that mentioned now they have to sweat out the upgrade at the gate. Don't know where that person has been but lately IME most UA upgrades have been last minute anyway if flying from a hub city.

it would be nice if UA (and even CO when the time comes) offered SWUs (even if it's just one) for every 10k flown per quarter (a la CR-1s for 1Ks). I flew those miles every quarter just to collect the CR-1s so keeps people flying.

10k is too generous, notihng less than 15k, i was thinking 20k

Indeed you should, but you post helpfully and kindly. When you give advice you're not a tool about it. Do let me know if you plan on changing that, as that would be tremendous fun to watch you answer buffoonery with some of your own.

CR-1s are nice and I will miss them. It would be awesome if they decided to keep them as well as the comp upgrades.

I imagine they have to keep CR-1s through 2011 since they will still be issuing them through 6/10.
