Would anyone be interested in a CLE Cuisine event, similar to the wine dinner I hosted? I am thinking of something fun that includes the establishments of an Iron Chef, a Beard finalist and perhaps a return to Fahrenheit.
Thoughts? |

It was not all that bad, but I am certainly glad I got it out of the way,

Hanging out in the ORD B UA club right now for the first time. Someone remind me why this place is supposed to be so awful? It's certainly not the nicest lounge I've ever been in, but it's far from being the worst. And it sure beats spending my four hour layover at the gate.
Did you also notice that they have CO on their LCDs as a *A partner? They have for a few weeks now. |

Great dawgs though. My parents recently adopted one and he is both fun and smart, without the hair issues of my current foot warmer.

for that strain....you can get a shot and still get another strain, shots don't make much sense to me.

I think all of us need to be hand washing fools for the next several months as the flu, whatever strain, is going to hit the country in a big way.

The shots aren't 100% protection, but they generally are shown to be effective. I'd rather have some protection than none. This is the first year I've gotten the shot, but given my schedule this winter, the general lack of rest and not so great nutrition I've had the last few months (working on both of those now), work stress, and the fact that I spend most of my time on or in airplanes, college campuses, hotel rooms, rental cars, and other public places, I'm just asking to come down with something. I've already worked on two campuses that are experiencing large numbers of students who are out sick with the flu, both the regular stuff and the H1N1. I plan on getting the H1N1 vaccine as well, once it's available.

Luckily this strain was not too intense, though the tagalong GI bug was a bit of a surprise.
There have been a couple years where it took me down for the count and I could barely get out of bed. |

I've already had the lecture on that, the shots, and everything else related to it from both my mother and my sister-in-law. |

Worst flu I ever had I came down with right after a trip to San Francisco a few days before Christmas in 1999. I was in bed for about 5 days with it. By in bed I mean, really in bed — I was so sick that just getting up to take a shower would wipe me out for hours. I lost about 20 pounds in a week because of it, and it was a full month before I felt back to normal. That was the sickest I've ever been, and I don't care to ever repeat it.
Anything I drank or ate that had citrus in it for about 3 months made the worst pain in my stomach, if felt like...indescribable pain, intense, for 3-4 hours I would simply have to go find a place to lay down and rest in pain. I love citrus, have since a child, I was not going to let it get me down, I kept having it and eventually all was ^ Personally unless an allergy is going to cause me death, I am not going to let an allergy keep me down, even if I have 50+ hours of intense pain from it :D |

I'm very appreciative of the fresh fruit and yogurt in here this morning. After spending $12 for a stale, half-frozen muffin that I threw out and a Diet Dr. Pepper at MSY this morning, I was hungry for something fresh to eat when I arrived at this club around 9:00 AM. MSY has got to have the worst food operations in the nation. Not only does that airport have the worst price gouging I've seen lately, but the quality of everything there is generally awful. What's even worse, is that in typical southern Louisiana fashion, it took nearly 15 minutes from the time I ordered this muffin for me to receive it, because the employees working this food place were too distracted with other tasks and chatting with each other. |
Apparently CO has moved the exit rows to 18/19 on the 739. :D
