Very interesting...
"Unlimited Domestic Upgrades will not be valid on 3-cabin transcontinental p.s. product. You may use Mileage Upgrades, Regional Upgrades or Systemwide Upgrades to experience United Business or United First on these unique flights." ETA: Source This does open up the possibility of GAs just upgrading people without collecting an instrument.... |

I followed the link and I refuse to Tweet so I guess I'm just going to continue hoping that Randy picks me.

Worth mentioning that this is probably NSFW.
This quote seems to sum things up well: |

What's happening over in the UA upgrade thread is what would have happened had there been an internet forum on which some Southerners could have posted in 1955: the rage associated with the death of a sense of entitlement.
Others have pointed out some of the more hilarious opinions (Now everyone eligible will be competing for upgrades! How is that fair?) The overt slams at CO elites (if they let those people in, I'm out of here) are too precious. I'm sorry, but I find it pretty damned funny. |

My upgrade percentage is dropping like a rock. Looks like I'll miss IAH-LAS tomorrow and it definitely looks like LAS-IAH on Sunday is out of the question.
I was doing better as a Silver. |

I should write a book: Dummies Guide to Gate Agent Shenanigans. :D
Or how about a coping guide called 'Why your luggage is in O'hare'. :D |

When entering your flights, put your FT handle in the Aircraft Name field. Try to stick to the pull-down lists for things like airline and aircraft type so that we keep our data uniform. And the standard for entering the Flight Number is COxxxx, with the 2 letter IATA code for the airline, followed by no space and the flight number as four digits (add leading zeroes if needed).
Don't worry; if you get it wrong, someone else will fix it for you later. ;) |
