I only started cardio last week. Getting acclimated is . Am doing 6 mins of brisk walking with 2 of running for 30 mins or so each day. Increasing the run and decreasing the walk each week. :-:

It'll be in print tomorrow...and hopefully they can fix the misspelling of my name in the photo caption before then. (I emailed back right away, but who knows...)

Said photo is not too bad at all (we should hope, after ~200 shots!) though it's definitely another kick in the pants that I need to lose quite a few pounds before my NEXT national media appearance!

And can y'all see what's on my laptop screen?? :D

Congrats!

Just took a look at teh Box's FM. No Alaska there. A few other states missing, too (including ME since I haven't added those flights yet), but AK is pretty surprising to me.

Speaking of Alaska....we should talk about the "World's Deadliest DO"...I'd still really love for that to happen.

OMG - I just had a Pyrex baking dish explode while I was holding it and it was loud and violent. I need to take a photo of the damage.

Compensation??? :D

I'm sure you already know this, but you're living at the wrong latitude.

I just ordered Wii Fit II. I'm hoping it's more exciting than Wii Fit I.

I wanted to ask about that, because I noticed that it's basically the same stuff that causes such issues marketed under a different name.

Yes. I made it as far as Scotland once. Loved it. Somehow I got dragged back to living in Teh Pit.

If a Law Firm in Fairbanks would just offer me a job, I'd be set. :-:

You don't want to know what my kitchen looks like. I haven't even bothered to start cleaning up yet. It literally exploded.

That's a great drill for endurance...my recruiter told me to do a lot of that when I was getting in shape for Basic Training. Of course I didn't listen, only to find out that every other day the workout consists of almost 45 minutes of that very drill. We used to run in lines and call it "last man up" - the trailing guy always had to catch the leader, then slow the pace to his own. No rest for the rotation - as soon as you were at the back of the train again, you had to charge for the front.

What looks worse, your kitchen or your nose?? I guess it would depend on what was in the pot when it exploded (as opposed to what was in your nose )

If you were cooking a lasagna......well.....mess doesn't begin to describe it!

Thank you, sir. ^ I'm still mildly shocked that I won.

Among other things to do, I promised the other half an itinerary...guess I should go try and find the complete one in the Buzz discussion thread.
