I bow to your superior knowledge.

I place you on the "goddess" pedestal. Except of course, you're not female, so you can't be a goddess. I supposed a Demi-God will just have to do for you!

Thanks! :D:D:D

I will credit my MSP-GEG flights to BD. I'm looking for something else that will tip me into the 38,000 level. The JFK-SJO flights are all at $950 a/i now. :(

How do I find Q-ups? Do I need one of those fancy-schmancy online tool thingamabobs?

I am very confused with the BD qualifying periods/status years.

Did you receive 2 small booklets with your BD Gold kit (I don't think they included them with the new black card)? If so, I'd highly recommend reading them cover to cover. Most times the program information booklets that come with an elite kit aren't worth much, but I found them to be extremely value for understanding Diamond Club.

Hmmm! I will have to check. I'm sure I probably did, but didn't think to look at them in great detail.

I perused the BD forum, read the FAQ stickies, looked at BD website, but got more and more confused as I read!

I knew my best bet would be ALCO the BD Oracle.

On another note, have you had any luck finding another contract yet? Guess I won't be seeing you in Titusville next year?

My new card came with a series of what were essentially postcards.

Excellent question, one that should be pondered over more chicken.

FareCompare F Search. Just plug in different starting cities. You can filter results on the lefthand side of the page. I usually restrict searches to US/UA, when I'm not cruising for pure mistake fares, as they generally have better Q-UP routing rules than CO.

Same here. The 2009 kit included 2 very helpful program booklets.

In other news, several eastbound transcons are arriving in under 4 hours today - impressive!

Evening Box from a sub-arctic-esque MSP.

The only problem I see here is a lack of video.

High winds blew over Tennessee's state Christmas tree, even though it was anchored with hooks in concrete.

DEN is an ok airport if you're connecting, all of my complaints are if you O/D there.

I have three major complaints about DEN.

1) Location. It's just too far from anything useful and it sucks if you O/D there.

2) Lack of underground walkway. This escapes me. They dug the tunnels for the train, why not put a walkway in. I got stuck on numberous occasions and wish they'd just have a walkway.

3) The stupid bus system. Again, i'm dumbfounded that they built a new airport with all these nice facilities, but rather than putting in an automatic people mover, they have buses which are highly unreliable and just suck.

Aww, my old work stomping grounds. I miss the Twin Cities this time of year. Nothing quite like the feeling of going outside with a congested nose from a cold and having it freeze shut while you tramp through the snow to the car.

DEN is fine for a UA-UA connection - wide concourse, everything in one concourse. Location wise though it's horrible.

The wind in Baton Rouge last night and this morning was insane. I was almost blown over walking to the car.
