Trying again for CLE-DUJ this morning. My travel colleague doesn't know what carry-on means. :(

I've actually got to use this very thing tomorrow. I will be gone for a total of 17 hours, and the timing is pretty tight on both ends. I'm worried that doing short-term parking at Terminal C (and coughing up $33) may actually be the safest option.

Night, Box.

P4 can be quicker (less driving and no stop signs at ped crossings) and overall cheaper than parking at Terminal C for a trip like that. The only issue is that it fills up by mid morning and doesn't open up again until around 5 PM. If the monorail goes down, it's only a 5 minute walk to the terminal.

Morning Box!!

Been working on my spend for the last year and determining my savings and such as well. (I know really sad right) I have determined that through use of coupons, insurance, and USAA discounts on banking I have gained about $7k this year. Money I would never see through job normally. I am sure there is another 1 or 2 K out there in benefits I havent calculated in. Either way makes one feel good for the year. Keep clipping those coupons they can add up!!

They have apparently now opened eligibility to anyone who has ever served in the military and been discharged honorably.

Penny-wise and pound-foolish. This is the sort of policy that has led clients of mine to have to stay in terrible and potentially unsafe hotels miles away from our place of business or to have to leave at odd times or connect in out of the way places. Time has monetary value too...

I work in a business where travel costs are passed through to the client -- and thus the use of such tools is unlikely, even from the client end, since I may be working for more than one client on a given trip, and I can justify reasonable amounts of flexibility -- and am grateful not to have to deal with this nonsense.

At my last job we were supposed to use Expedia Corporate Travel, which was setup by our home office in ROA. For this reason it always wanted to put us on US with multiple stops to get to our destination. Sure, it was cheaper, but I had to go to the client a day earlier and come home a day later to make it work, offsetting the savings with two extra nights in a hotel

A bunch of us were fed up with it and just started booking through CO.com and it was almost always cheaper (we compared against the Expedia possibilities).
