I am debating about staying in DFW for new years now, found a high end hotel for really cheap, and it is right near mortons, west end, and several museums i have wanted to visit for a long time.

I was asked to volunteer for one of the First Night celebrations in the D.C. area. Don't know whether or not I'm going to accept, as I'm requested to serve in a community I don't know well :confused:

Comes out to $4.50 a day with coupon here, as opposed to $10 for long-term parking at BNA. Then again I walk to the terminal from BNA's long-term parking. When I'm away for more than 4 days I always park with the off-site companies.

Valet saves me a total of maybe 20 minutes no matter how many days I'm away. Over a period of many days that becomes a costly proposition.

This discount place doesn't allow self-park. We have a formula -- if it is 0-3 days (and on our tab), we will use the parking place. 3-5 days -- cab. 5-9 days -- parking place. 10+ cab again...

I moved away from the east coast due to general :rolleyes:

BNA's on-site caps are:

* Short-term - $22 a day
* Valet - $20 a day
* Long-term - $10 a day
* Economy - $8 a day (but waiting for shuttle would make one support the off-site companies)

I've actually got to use this very thing tomorrow. I will be gone for a total of 17 hours, and the timing is pretty tight on both ends. I'm worried that doing short-term parking at Terminal C (and coughing up $33) may actually be the safest option. :rolleyes:

I recommend Burn Notice to anyone that liked the A-Team back in the day. Today I am taking a couple containers full of homemade marshmallows to my client in FTW - mostly because they didn't believe one could actually make them at home. :rolleyes:

Being the good flyer that I am though... I opted to pack them and check a bag rather than try to get containers full of fluffy white things covered in white powder through TSA. Could you imagine the chaos if they decided to open one... :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
