Sorry, I meant like not on credit card plastic. I know the website will reprint one on plain paper if you're in a jam. How much of a cost difference could there really be between paper-like PVC and real plastic?

The boots should be a supple enough leather that you can roll the boots down mide calf level and pull off.

I read this a few times and started daydreaming. An anonymous pair of qualified legs rolling those boots on and off might just about be the sultriest thing that has ever crossed my mind.

Will CO give him free status with those miles?

Yes, via PM for a negotiable cash price.

Because of USD funding of oil and metal carry trades, there is now risk of bubbles in both commodity prices and the EUR. Oh, really? And a $1.50 EUR is not a bubble already? Maybe the cent and half rise in Europe overnight is a rational response to the return of FT members from the DO?

Unknown. He should call and ask and then start a thread about it.

:D The photo of Faith was indeed bootworthy.

I bought 2 new pair of boots this weekend at Nordstrom's Rack in SAT including a fabulous pair of Paul Green's (Mrs. Monitor alert) that I can't wait to wear. If the economy wasn't stimulated over the weekend, it certainly isn't my fault!

With the right ad agency, a boot maker could really do something with that concept. Quality of the product, along with the attention grabbing that Victoria's Secret is after (but doesn't get from me, of course).

My IAD Run in Jan.

I was just calculating my run this coming Jan and all the fun that I will have. Here are the basics:

16 Flights
6 days
18,776 BIS and 42224 Miles w/ Bonus
3,128 Average Daily miles
3 Hotels
6 Airports
2 complete days behind Security
5 Different Aircraft
2 Trans-Cons
2 Mid-Cons
Tons of Lounges
1 Lose of Sanity by flyer

This should be fun. Slow as H*LL at work. May put these in my FM by the end of the day.

Reminds me of the lady yesterday at Ralph Lauren outlet who thought she could get the 20% discount with $50 gift card purchase, then use said gift card for purchase.

CM, do you remember how long ago it was that you posted the photos of the Tomb of the Unknown? I looked last night and couldn't find them. Last evening, I was chatting with a man who has a relative who was one of the guards, and I told him of your shots and that I would forward a link.

Being a Guard, by the way, has some Spartan conditions attached to the honor, but it is, apparently, a very big thing in the Corps.

You can have the Powerball if I can have the Mega Millions.

Note to box, if I ever do win the lottery, we're going on a helluva mileage run.

Given this: CO Plat* 1MM" in your signature, just do a few totalling 2+MM, and you'd never have to do another, ever.

If I ever won the lottery (difficult when I don't even play), I've always thought it would be fun to charter a wide-body to fly some crazy routing. I would make sure everyone from The Box was on that plane. :)

You always know an awful lot about where currencies are. Do you trade for a living?

rolov was trying to convince me to fly the last 600k before 12/15 to hit my 2mm mark.

I'm personally just waiting for Onepass to absorb Mileage Plus as it will be a done deal by then.

Personally, I would love to try to convince BA to bring the Concorde out of storage.

I'm sure there is a price, the question is what that price is.
