That is a perfect word for it.

now Mike's hair is not quite so orange now, and looks a bit better, that fisheye made some really funky views!

Atleast CM isn't going to have to worry about his hair on this trip.

Awesome.

Hi Box, after a busy morning yesterday trying to get both of us out the door at home for work trips this week (other half is in Vegas at SEMA), and two flights, and a busy night at the hotel dealing with work stuff, plus a crappy day at work today, I'm finally back on FT catching up.

I expected this to be a difficult week at work, and so far, it is. My client in Louisiana is being its usual ,, and  self. On the other hand, this week will likely generate enough billable hours that I'll jump up a level on my annual bonus for 2009.

I wish I was at the Star Megado.

Thanks to multiple stackable bonus offers, last week's two night stay at a Holiday Inn Express in Redneckistan for $70/night has yielded just under 16,000 Priority Club points. That's right, nearly 16,000 points for $140 in eligible spending, and the $140 didn't come out of my pocket.

This must be what ALCO feels when checking his BD account after a weekend of flying a transcon UA Q-up mistake fare.

When the miles actually post. My US flights from this weekend posted, so I upped the balance by 21K over the weekend. Am missing about 20K from three weeks ago. Need those to fall into place so I can get past 55K and earn another 30K this weekend by doing ORD-PHX-GEG. :D

BD can be ridiculously slow when it comes to posting stuff. I've had Hilton stays take more than 120 days to post to BD this year.

My strategy is to just keep sending follow-up emails to Joanna about once every 10 days until I can haz pony.

Just noticed that 22.5K Chase Checking Miles posted to my CO account. Still weird seeing my CO balance lower than my SPG balance.

I had a great set of UA flights yesterday. Amazing crews on PHX-ORD and ORD-MSP, and the lunch served on PHX-ORD (Steak Salad) was excellent. Was really happy when we landed at ORD early, and the Lounge Angel at the B18 RCC was able to confirm me on the 06:37pm ORD-MSP flight in F instantly. Also got to sample UA's new all-leather interior (including F seats) on the A320 from ORD-MSP. ^

My UA flights continue to be mostly great. Although, the catering hasn't been all that; last night I should have had the shrimp salad, but they catered three of them and they were gone by the time the FA got to me in 2A. I had the pasta instead, which was edible, but totally *meh*. I ended up eating half of it and ordering a quite yummeh bacon cheeseburger from room service after hitting the hotel in Baton Rouge a few hours later.

I had actually drafted the e-mail about my gobs of missing Hilton stays when I decided to check my account one last time before clicking send. I did, and found the miles had posted.

In the future, I doubt I'll let them get away with not posting that many miles for four months.
