I'm sure there is a price, the question is what that price is.

A RTW on the Concorde? Yes please!

Not in the sense of day trading or active in-and-out. But I will put on long term positions in currency futures or options, bets placed on fundamentals and very basic trend following. Been long the EUR for a while now, and, while I think the fundamentals are exhausted a ways below here, the trend indications just won't stop.

One comment on in-and-out: while these percentages are wags, they're not wrong: 90% of markets' movement happens in 10% of calendar time. Timing attempts put one at risk of missing those moves.

I just had the startling realization that several exes are going to be at a party I'm attending on Saturday night. With the Canuck.

I'm suddenly not looking forward to this weekend as much as I was about 5 minutes ago.

I'm personally just waiting for Onepass to absorb Mileage Plus as it will be a done deal by then.

Given such things as are suggested by the "union rules" mention earlier today, I don't know that I would rely on that too near term if you really want the Gold as the baseline.

Actually, yes. There were quite a few germ-spreaders on my flights this weekend.

You still have 5 days to get the swine flu.

Plus1 leaves on Friday, so I told (sick at home) BL JR that if there were good CO specials, she and I would take a trip this weekend. She asked if we could go to Paris. I told her that probably wasn't a co.com special. She then asked if we could go to India; I said the same. She then asked about Africa - anywhere in Africa; I repeated it. She said, "alright then, I suppose we could just go to London again" as if we were going to Baton Rouge or somewhere similar. I explained it was the weekend only, she said we could stay any of those places for just 2 days. Think twice before you start making runs with your kids!

Oddly enough I'm getting my shots tomorrow.

I wonder if I can fake paralysis. :-:

My drs. office still hasn't gotten to my# yet. I'm not sure I'll get the vaccination before I get H1N1. BL JR has had one, but not the second (due the end of this week) and she has several symptoms of H1N1. She'll have to stay home again tomorrow because she still has a fever. I need to pack, go see a customer and was hoping to fit in hair, massage and pedicure tomorrow. NOT LIKELY!

Just received my Holiday Greetings card from Air Astana. This year, Assassin members will have their choice of the following gifts: (1) Celebrity Luncheon (and arms-trading networking opportunity) with members of the Burmese Junta in Naypyidaw, (2) A stock certificate entitling the bearer to one share in the new Nuclear Power Corporation of Iran, or (3) Discounted purchase options for homesteads in South Ossetia.

Sounds like you've been transported into a Matthew McConaughey film.

Clearly, the luncheon is the best bet. Not only do you get a free lunch, but you have a new opportunity to offload those pesky ICBMs you've got stashed away.
