Is Discover cashback worth the effort? I have a Discover card that will soon be available for spend, since I'm nearly done paying a balance transfer. I'd consider using it and possibly dropping my AmEx charge. 63K MR points for a VS ticket is not a compelling enough reason for me to keep Membership Rewards.

It was the first "rewards" credit card I had (started in college) so at the time, it was nice - nowadays, I have no idea how it stacks up against the other schemes. I've been meaning to figure out which credit cards would work best for me at this point, but haven't done so yet...

LMAO, I just mentioned this to my wife before her sister came in town. We just bought a 12 pack of TP a few weeks ago and we had 2 left before she got here on Wednesday. Last night I had to make a run to get more because we were out. Funny thing is Im not sure how they used it up so fast because Im still confident that girls dont poop.

Discover kept sending me new cards and I kept letting them collect dust. Eventually they sent me a "goodbye" letter. I don't miss the card at all. They used to offer 5% cash back for gas. That's not bad IMHO, but I use my Costco card for 4% cash back for gas.
