Is the skyteam and *A sides of NRT connected airside? I am connecting on DL and I think I may swing by the *A clubs there.

As for my background, it is Social Studies but I have also done some magazine writing and I would like to think I am a somewhat accomplished writer.

What you say about passion is undeniably true - that's how I got hooked. One of my history teachers in high school made it sound like so much more than what kids think it is (rote memorization of names and dates) and I want to teach in that style. It sounds cliche and trite but it's true for me: if I can affect just one kid's life (especially with the way society today is progressing) I'll feel like I got something out of it.

Thanks for saying that you think I could hack it in a middle school. :) I tend to disagree right now, as I subbed for a 6th grade last week and that one day made me not want to touch that level again.

After spending more times in different schools and working with students of different ages, you'll get a better feel for what age group you 'click with' best. While choosing your subject to teach is important, even more important is finding that age group of students that you 'click with' best is as critical...if not more critical....than the subject.

Maybe I'm being too harsh but it seems almost as BA's little 'slap on the hand' could have been written by BA itself. Of the hundreds of consumers impacted by their shenanigans, how many will be helped by this? A couple of dozen tops? :(

I am having one  night!

You never know how well mute works. I was on hold with my car dealer yesterday making a service appointment and the horrible music wasn't playing. I could very slighlty hear things going on while on hold I could clearly hear any PA annoucement including the one for service to pick up my call.

I have learned the hard way that the in-line mute switch we use with our headsets do not work as advertised. :o

If that, not many people probably bought hotel rooms or positioning flights before BA canceled the tickets. It is a toothless punishment.

Thanks for the advise and Ill think about it more but I have a lot of miles in other accounts and another flight to a place I haven't been only means I will be spending even more money which is not a good thing now. We also found out we are going to be over our budget on accessories because the blinds are going to cost about twice what we thought they would. We had come to the agreement that we would wait a few months to buy new sheets, comforter, pillows, towels, etc. but if I got the 650 gc I'm pretty sure that would take care of most of it but more importantly surprise her allowing her to decorate ASAP (and me hearing less bit*hing about how we dont have it now)

Check out blindschalet.com. We just bought blinds for our house on there. Seems decent.

Yes, they are outrageously expensive.

I purchased all of my curtains from the Christmas Tree Shop (crushed sheer panels) and Marburn outlet (heavy solid panels). Saved a fortune.

Yes. The UA lounge was a 5 minute walk from the DL club and the ANA F lounge is about a 10 minute walk from the DL club.
