For those Rite Aid shoppers, they are doing the Holiday Gift of Savings program again, which is in addition to any other standard rebates available.

Speaking of publicity....
It looks like our own SFOGate had a cartoon recently about her in the WSJ that I have been meaning to post!

Are these similiar to the ones they hand out for the shower rooms? A black zip pouch with comb, tooth brush and toothpaste, hair spray and deoderant?

What you say about passion is undeniably true - that's how I got hooked. One of my history teachers in high school made it sound like so much more than what kids think it is (rote memorization of names and dates) and I want to teach in that style. It sounds cliche and trite but it's true for me: if I can affect just one kid's life (especially with the way society today is progressing) I'll feel like I got something out of it. Thanks for saying that you think I could hack it in a middle school. :) I tend to disagree right now, as I subbed for a 6th grade last week and that one day made me not want to touch that level again. My high school history teacher used novels to teach US History. She was interesting and made the subject come alive. No memorizing silly dates or names of Presidents. My algebra teacher forced us to keep a journal of everything he wrote on the blackboard, which was a great way of reinforcing his lessons. Those two teachers were the reason I wanted to become a teacher. Due to the issues in the racial state called Hawaii, I could never get a job. |

You're absolutely right!;) I have very little faith that Chase has any 'interest' in improving the customer 'experience' with them! I am on the verge of closing all my other banking a/cs with them -- based on the stupid coin incident!:mad:

Thanks for the 'heads up' -- not a 'regular' Rite Aid consumer -- but would frequent same if it's 'beneficial'!:D;)^

Just placed an order with Staples, using my Teacher Rewards check (free ZRH backpack) and a special coupon code. $25 of Sharpies and a new high-back manager's chair for $12.64.
|
I'm now motivated enough to make breakfast, at 1211.

Before you go that far, consider the opportunity cost. Are the alternatives (and losing Flex EQMs) any better?
