I have three Canons — a 35mm SLR I've had since I was in high school that works perfectly and still looks practically brand new, despite a lot of years of use. It will be 20 years old next year. I've also got a high end PowerShot series camera that's just barely a step below a DSLR (basically a DSLR without CompactFlash support, RAW image support, and interchangeable lenses), and a small point and shoot PowerShot A series camera that I carry all the time in my computer bag. Again, no problems with any of them.

You get the 2 free redeposits, the waiver of close in fees which are probably the best thing from a reward standpoint. I probably would allocate to DL just to lock up ST USA, but DL is sooooooo underwhelming. Note, I am dropping from PM to GM myself, but if I had extra trips planned I would likely allocate to DL. Sorry ..... my disgruntled NWA roots showing again ....:(

The only reason i'm considering chasing Plat on DL is for my burns next year. I amassed a nice about of Skymiles thanks to Avis and i'm in a burn mode and that would be much easier being Plat with the increased inventory and redeposits.

Plus I have some DL credit that i'd rather just burn this year and call it done and not have to fly them on revenue tix next year.

Years ago I figured out how to open a beer bottle using the privacy door bolt that most hotels in the US have. You have to be careful you don't spill half the beer doing it, but it's quite possible to get one open with that thing. I've also managed to pry off a beer cap with the rental car key, but that left the car key where it was difficult to get the car started (kind of like the Avis key we f'ed up in Corpus back in July :D).

I am so mad, I could spit. And these damn permits are not cheap. I think we had to pay about $6000 for them.

Can't you order the pudding from their website and have it shipped here just like their tea?

That will damage the counter. Find a smoker and use their lighter to pop the bottle cap off.

I agree, as I said, i'm just setting up for a burn scenario. I have about 270k, if I did fly 15k, i'd get 300k which is more than enough for 3 US-EU C rewards.

It's best to put a hand towel on the ground "just in case" but if you do it quickly and put it upright and into the mouth immediately, you shouldn't make too much of a mess.

Regardless, Im pretty sure they are hiring any type of engineer. Look at their website and let me know if you are interested in anything and I can have him get you in contact with the right person. www.swn.com

Edit: Nothing that I'd be qualified for. Only two positions would use my Degree but they are in part of my discipline that I never had to deal with. I should have become involved in the directional boring stuff the person one cube away from me did years ago.

You said that you have multiple trips. It sounds like one trip plus one segment or so will get you to 75k on DL. Do that on DL and dump the rest into UA for the SWUs.
