Me too. I love my Canon. It's small, light, takes good pictures and is easy for a techno-phobe like me - just point, click and be on your way!

As noted you do get the extra goodies on UA. Also note, you can get some extra goodies on DL for hitting PM next year. https://www.delta.com/skymiles/about...es_program.jsp
You get the 2 free redeposits, the waiver of close in fees which are probably the best thing from a reward standpoint. I probably would allocate to DL just to lock up ST USA, but DL is sooooooo underwhelming. Note, I am dropping from PM to GM myself, but if I had extra trips planned I would likely allocate to DL. Sorry ..... my disgruntled NWA roots showing again ....:( Plus I have some DL credit that i'd rather just burn this year and call it done and not have to fly them on revenue tix next year. Choices choices. |

I need to take some trips to the west coast before the end of the year. I'm trying to figure out if I should take CO, UA or DL. I've already hit my 125k threshold for UA so i don't need any more EQMs there. I'm approaching 200k on CO so I don't need any EQMs there. DL i'm only at about 60k. Is it worth trying to hit Plat on DL or just push all the EQMs to CO to bad the million miler balance? |

Hope you are having a good time! Don't forget to buy yourself some yummy Cadbury Flakes! Mmmmm! And, if you like traditional English Christmas pudding, pop into Harrods and pick up one of their Luxury Christmas Puds. They are TO DIE FOR! Sooooooo delicious. Alas, I have none left, so I shall be a poor scavenger this year.
The problem is, the building inspector only comes in twice a week - Tues and Thurs from 5:30pm-7:30pm. He's contracted. So, he goes out to do inspections and only "gets round" to doing permits when he has a "chance".:mad::mad::mad::mad: I believe he also works for that surrounding town. I am so mad, I could spit. And these damn permits are not cheap. I think we had to pay about $6000 for them.

I'm not sure if there is a proper way to drive on ice in a city like DFW that lacks adequate supplies of grit/road salt. Seems like every year there's news footage of some poor schmuck skidding sideways through a 1080 as they hit a patch of black ice on I-20.

Is that P.E. for Petroleum Engineer? If so send me a PM, the company my dad works for is growing aggresively. Bad thing is its in the festering pit and they primarily fly private jets around so no miles.

That is what i'm leaning towards. :)
Because everyone needs 10 SWUs next year. I had a hard enough time using eight this year. |

Anything but DL. Sorry, I'm still mad at them. This morning I learned that through their never-ending schedule and equipment changes my partner ended up in a middle seat on a DL 757 for his ATL-LAX flight.

That will damage the counter. Find a smoker and use their lighter to pop the bottle cap off.

Years ago I figured out how to open a beer bottle using the privacy door bolt that most hotels in the US have. You have to be careful you don't spill half the beer doing it, but it's quite possible to get one open with that thing. I've also managed to pry off a beer cap with the rental car key, but that left the car key where it was difficult to get the car started (kind of like the Avis key we f'ed up in Corpus back in July :D).

P.E. stands for Professional Engineer. A blanket term used for any engineer that's licensed with a State board. Canada uses PEng so that it's not confused with a US license.

Regardless, Im pretty sure they are hiring any type of engineer. Look at their website and let me know if you are interested in anything and I can have him get you in contact with the right person. www.swn.com
Edit: Nothing that I'd be qualified for. Only two positions would use my Degree but they are in part of my discipline that I never had to deal with. I should have become involved in the directional boring stuff the person one cube away from me did years ago. |
