I don't know why I find something funny. I'm sending my resume to a networking contact and the person is English. For some reason I feel I don't have enough initials after my name like they all seem to have.

Don't you really mean "for the chaos and SPG points"?

What makes this one stand out for me is the hefty optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and quick shutter time. Consumer reports has it listed as a "best buy" under the super-zoom category.

Looks like a very nicely full-featured camera to me. I've never really looked in detail at any Sonys, simply because their insistence on sticking to a proprietary memory card format and not going with something more standard like CF or SD leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

Huh. First time I've heard of that problem and I've been a heavy Powershot user for years now. I've never had a problem with a Canon, including one that got dropped about 10 feet onto a hard floor once. But it does sound like it has been an issue for some owners.

When I was a corporate trainer, our software developers were based in Wimbledon. I wondered about the practice at that time ...

Just think of next year! My goal is to be done by Thursday, but I still have 8 trees to decorate, and only one is really partially done; however all the lights are on. Plus1 doesn't have nearly the enthusiasm I do for the Christmas decorating
