Even I would foolishly consider that.

Ok, someone make up their mind. IAH or EWR land?;)

Baglady and Plus1 are willing to host either the pre or post party.

I worked in Houston for a while in the 80s and never got to a Whataburger. :(

I was rather selfish once on a CRJ when there was a non-English speaking 70+ year old woman who looked rather frail assigned to an exit-row aisle seat. I had an aisle seat a few rows back. I ratted her out to the flight attendant and offered to trade seats since this woman clearly had multiple reasons she didn't meet the exit row qualifications. I ended up in the exit row aisle seat on that completely full Skywest CRJ flight across Colorado.

I'll be honest. I was a lot more concerned about my personal comfort than I was for the safety of all of us on board in the very unlikely event that the emergency exits would need to be opened. But, we all won out. Exit row ended up with someone capable of understanding directions from the flight attendant and taking charge in an emergency if needed, and my knees got that cherished extra ½" of space that the CRJ exit row has.

Well, then -- it's all good!^ It would have made me nervous to see someone who clearly could not 'perform' said duties to be seated in said exit row seat.

My 15 y.o. son was sooo thrilled that he is finally old enough to occupy an exit row seat this past summer!^ At over 6'0' -- he's no weakling!;) And, as far as I know -- he understands English -- perfectly!:D Whether he's listening -- well, that's another story!:p

Just updated my FlightMemory. Nice to see the new jumble of trans-Atlantic lines that adding EWR-BRU and AMS-MEM last week created. Far more exciting than this weekend's new MSY-LAX and LAX-DEN lines.

Starwood Lurker has updated the AUS Do thread concerning transportation. If you are flying into AUS on Friday and would like a ride to the Sheraton and/or transportation to various events throughout the weekend, please send me a PM. I have four spots open plus my wife and I. Please pass the word along to your fellow Boxers since this post will scroll out of the thread's recent memory soon.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled .

We have a box full of boxers in our car ;)

So I guess that the last event of the DO can be a Super Bowl Party. ^
