My sink is no longer clogged. Good thing I wasn't paying for this visit because the two guys spent over an hour here taking their sweet time.

On the Christmas gift buying front: all the stocking stuffers and two main gifts are purchased. I'm hitting The Mall tomorrow morning for the rest of the loot.

Next project: trying to figure out how high we have to place the tree so that the dog doesn't remove the ornaments/lights. It might be easier to buy a 2 ft fake tree and hang it from the ceiling. :D

Sorry to hear - hope you made an appropriate schedule revision (e.g. drinking event) out of the issue.

Unfortunately we did not :td:

Yay for two new spots and three new lines on myFM and TehBoxFM! CLE-DUJ-FKL-CLE.

And if you ever call teh CO elite desk and talk to Beverly, she is the most AWESOME person you could ever talk to. She used to read FT, and might even do so again after we talked today. Maybe we can even get her here in teh box. :D^

Definite  and :td: on that front. We found a great Turkish place on 72nd last night... but if you decide to go you might just get stuck at Gray's Papaya on the way...

I've been to that Turkish place with CO Fan back in the day. It is quite good. ^^

Thanks, I just got a text from my aunt who lives near me and she is cooking dinner so I will be going over there for a nice meal. I guess a nice meal and some Argentinean wine is a good consolation prize.

I want to go to your super Italian place where we had drinks and dessert with Olton Hall, we need to set that up.

We just ticketed an award to HKG. We've got two longhaul segments in J, ORD-NRT on ANA and BKK-LAX on Thai. This evening I decided to look at the seats these carriers offer. Are these carriers living in the stone age? ANA has a 60" pitch in J on most of its aircraft. Some aircraft have only 58"! They don't publish the number of degrees of recline, but the pictures on their web site with the huge comforter make it seem to me as if they're trying to hide something. It's nowhere even close to being lie flat. The Thai seats don't seem much better. They claim 170 degrees, but if you look at the picture you can see that that's just the top half of the seat. The bottom half just drops off like a cliff. Sure, these will be better than economy, but I think both will make me pine for the much-closer-to-flat and much maligned CO seats. Talk about taking the shine off of my excitement about ticketing this...

ANA seat
Thai seat

I think that could be better than seeing the movie.

I've flown the TG seat BKK-FRA, and it was okay. Not my favorite J seat, but not terrible. KE, EK, SU and KL do a much better job with the angled-flat concept.

Hypothetical situation ;). A traveller is booked in the exit row (RJ so no upgrade opportunity) and they break a bone in their foot; requiring wearing a boot. Pax is still willing and able to assist in case of emergency. Will pax get booted from the exit row? Co.com and ask Alex are unclear. WWTBD?

Great ... ... now that I'm not flying Skyteam USA and its partners  I actually liked the SU seat quite a lot. These seem many notches down from that standard.

You can look at the sleep configuration for Thai under "Virtual Control", bottom of the screen.
