interesting how 3 days for you makes it a holiday out of country. What is a weekend trip, less than 24 hours?

It's actually a weekend trip. I think I have about 18 hours on the ground in Poznan. My friends and I should manage to get pretty drunk in that time. :D

Have you ever tried monoski ?

Not in snow, I can snowboard but monoski looks very hard due to the feet setup.

There is a webcam at EAR. Earlier it was dark grey. Now, I can actually see part of the runway. An improvement. Rebooked on Great Lakes tomorrow and gave myself a little extra time in Denver in case it's late. Will the 40 below windchill keep a Beechcraft from flying? I so want out of here. And I'll be coming back every 4-6 weeks. sigh

 Hope you get out of there soon! Doesn't sound like a good place to be stuck.

Unless they need you as a volunteer, I don't think they'd let you fly EWR-IAH, let you skip the first segment of the SEA-IAH-NRT ticket and give you original routing credit over two PNRs. Even then I'd doubt they'd do it.

Last month I volunteered our party of three to fly PHL-SAN on US. Nobody was on the list and they needed our seats. In addition to the $150 being offered, I asked for original routing credit for PHL-EWR-SAN (the kids needed DEQM for *G and I guessed ORC would have provided CO metal and therefore DEQM). The CO agent refused. I therefore un-volunteered us. She was not happy.

I just got ORC for an itin in Dec with no issues whatsoever. Didn't even have to tell the OPSC what happened, just told 'em I had a trip that was changed and wanted ORC and she took care of it on the spot.

Did you just hit T-24? That is likely why. I see that message all the time at T-24. Try again in a few and it should let you.

I learned the old way. I never learned to carve properly. It’s also been a few years since I’ve been on my now old skis so I might as well be a beginner.
