I'm bored too. Sitting here in the payroll office at the client watching the payroll manager and her assistant check a pay register for accuracy (so far, it's right on). This is the curse of my payroll go live weeks. If we've done everything right, there's nothing for me to do but sit here and watch them work and answer the occasional question. If we haven't done everything right, it's absolute Hell as we rush to make corrections and still get their employees paid on time.

Fingers crossed that it continues to go well!

At least you can talk to the box.

That's a slippery slope to go down. Same thing happened to me with UA, and here I am, two years later, with UA 1K and CO Platinum and a bunch of extra FlightMemory lines.

Goodness, why do you folks live in New Jersey again? I would be in jail for stabbing people in the face if I lived there.

You'd think he would do a 2 minute detour, right? Not likely!

But you're frame of reference is mired in the real world. For people in jobs in which they are not held accountable for anything, it would be unheard of for him to inconvenience himself in that way.

Thanks. I think it will.

And yes, I'm finally catching up on some quality FlyerTalk time.

go for it. You only live once. Being able to say you were at Lake Titicaca is worth it.

I wouldn't hesitate about crediting to BA, if BA's ridiculous mileage crediting for discounted flights wouldn't result in me earning about 35 miles for the entire journey.

My other concern is planning the trip for Easter weekend. Gotta make sure I don't get trapped down there because all the Titicaca-La Paz bus services have taken the weekend off. Most of South America is essentially closed for Easter.

Sounds a little like my day. I'm sitting in the client's conference room right now, doing an office sweep every 15 minutes or so, hoping someone will have a question. As I said before, today is just an upgrade training, so once the actual training session is over and the initial questions answered, it can get a little tedious.
