But there's a really hot traffic reporter on right now...

Hot traffic reporter done, guess I'll get up and do stuff. Gotta run to local county college to sign up for a quickie course that is an M.Ed. program prereq. Knocking it out in four weeks.

Interesting to be back in the office. Glad I no longer have a storefront lock at the bottom of the door ...

I love the boxing (from Wii Fit); probably my favorite thing to do other than yoga.

That boxing is childs play compared to the don king boxing where you have to use the balance board, the wiimote and nuncuck, and punch like a madman :D

Seems the "I'm-such-a-jerk-I'm-going-to-make-your-life-so-miserable-because-I-haven't-done-my-homework-or-kept-current-with-advanced-building-technologies-Inspector" came out to inspect the hole last night -in the freaking dark, I might add - and did not pass it because there was a teeny tiny 1/2" deep x 3 or 4" square puddle of water in one corner.

What he doesn't seem to realize is that with the Superior Walls foundation we are not pouring footings. The foundation sits on a 6" bed of crushed stone. The inspector seems to think we need to pour concrete footings, even though it is spelt out in black and white letter 600feet high on the plans (OK, exaggeration there, I admit :p).

Plus the ground engineer passed it and said it's solid enough to build a skyscraper on it. What more does this jerk of an inspector want?

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:  day. My builder is apoplectic. I am being very nice to my builder today and remaining cool, calm and collected.

Of course, that doesn't mean to say I will remain that way when the inspector returns at 12 noon. If he doesn't pass it, there is no saying what words might escape my ladylike mouth......

I really don't know what recourse we have with the town. This inspector only comes in twice a week for two hours. Wonder if I should go in and see the Big Cheese Administrator who runs the town and lodge a complaint??

I'll be sending "Competent Inspector" vibes your way ;)

If the school wasn't a small non-profit and the service wasn't free I'd be switching ISPs by now. :td: At least the technician is looking at the issue. I managed to convince him that there really was a pr:mad:blem...

This message oddly reminded me I have to request free access to Investor's Business Daily for my students again ...

Good thing you're not a Phlyer Phan.

The Flyers/76ers/Philles on C:rolleyes:mcrap Sportsnet may soon be available to Directv and Dish Network as well. Why? Well, Comcast needs lots of government approvals to acquire NBC. I'm sure they will be "pushed" to make CSN available to Dish and Direct.
