What is the small bowl? Pic is not close enough to make out exactly. I know a commercial cheddar filled mini crepe... Appetizer foie gras looking mighty large :D I can eat some of it, but that much I'd have to choke down. Salmon, looks really nice tho. Entree I like eggplant, but that looks absolutely disgusting, from a presentation standpoint at least. it leaves no color and beauty of the eggplant. Cheese Plate CO BF beats this hands down ^ Dessert very nice, is that green tea sorbet?? Pre-Arrival Meal Do the oranges have cream on them? If not something looks funny about them. picky ...picky...picky ...:D:D:D |

I am trying to find a foreign carrier or reviews of one for a trip later this year, no one in the box answer my question about air china F/J :(
I am limited in my options realistically. I flew Etihad to Oz last year in Pearl Biz - JFK-Abu-Dhabi-Sydney and return. On the AbuDhabi-Sydney leg I got an op-up to Diamond First....... fantabuloso..... the only complaint I had was that the seats were too big !!! Being so short, my legs didn't reach to floor when the seat was in the upright position. The food was awesome. I think I took some photos. I'll have to see if I have them handy. |

Does anyone remember the link to the SPG promo that starts tomorrow?

Never flown air china, but if you ever get the chance to fly Etihad in Biz or F, you will not be disappointed.

I "found" flyertalk just about two or three days before my Oz trip, so wasn't into the taking photos, giving trip report mode and therefore failed in my duties as FlyerTalker....:(
but, I will attribute it to being a newbie ....:p |

Appetizer - everything on that plate was phenomenal (but I only ate a tiny bit of foie gras - not my desire). My intended entree was the duck confit but that was spoken for quickly. Entree - the eggplant did have an excellent taste, though. Cheese plate - this came with the entree but I couldn't get to the cheese until I had some of the 10-year port. Dessert - the macaron was decadent. Pre-Arrival meal - nothing odd on the fruit; all the neighbors had shades pulled during that course. |
