I just made the best Mac and cheese ever, I cooked the mac up al dente with some fresh chopped brocolli added right before it was to that point so it got flash boiled.
In the water I had fresh ground salt and pepper, garlic and a pinch of rosemary. Most of this was washed out when i drained, but enough stuck to really season up the noodle.

from there I was lazy and did not shred the cheddar (sharp from the farm nearby), I chopped it into small chunks and put about oh...5 oz maybe? in there and stirred it around to get some cheddar in the noodles. Then chunked up some more and put it on top and put int he oven at 350 for about 20 min.

doh I forgot, i also put about 4oz of chunked up fresh ham in the water when boiling, just to add a bit of flavor there!

BEST mac and cheese ever had, topping out the Bourbon Steak mac and cheese that was also white truffle enhanced.
This stuff is awesome.
I have lunch tomorrow too. :p

As this next year will be solely personal travel, my only hope is to make status with one carrier, that is it. The 8 Evips and free upgrades are a good thing on Oneworld (AA specifically). Obviously there are benefits to CO with their 100K benefits.. but worst case I make EXP on AA again and then status match back. If CO decides to stop giving away matches like candy, well then I am screwed. I am really torn (I miss CO!!) - and I am open to good arguments to shift my business the other direction.. but I have to choose.
