I do not think we have that yet, but I do know that we have more HD channels than most of our friends and do not get charged extra. I helped set up my parents TW system and I was stunned at the lack of selection and older DVR technology.

Which means they won't fly the panels in until Monday?

Assuming he passes the hole tomorrow... and that there is no snow in the hole on Monday.

Looks like it will probably be Monday now. :(

Seriously, how does the inspector expect the contractors to do their jobs and get things done on time if he is such an incompetent fool?

Although the rational side of me knows that to file a complaint with the town will be counter-productive, the irrational side of me wants to go down there and scream bloody murder at the building department.

Wait until you are in the clear and provide a complaint to the city with a detailed set of documentation, including a financial impact statement.

How much of the overall inspection does this guy have to do? Is he just foundations or does he also do the framing? I doubt he's electrical and plumbing.

Good afternoon, Box.

Training done, walk through winding down, questions at a minimum...but I have to be here until at least 4:00

I love it when clients have wireless in their conference rooms. Makes the afternoon go by a little faster.

I have dish network, without HD package, and have over 40 HD channels free :D

Yes, that is what I am going to do. Currently, his delays (not reviewing the plans in a timely manner, missing inspections, etc.) has cost us over 2 months in delays. That is two months extra rent I have had to pay for this rental house, 2 months extra storage charges, plus other miscellaneous expenses. It is sooooooo frustrating.

Building here is so awesome, go to city, get permit, then building inspector walks by says go for it and you build, then he checks it when done :D

Unbelievable how these people keep these jobs. If you or I or anyone with a normal job "forgot" an appointment we'd be out on the street.

Same with Atlanta. I would love to switch our regular AT&T DSL to U-verse, but they still don't offer U-verse in our neighborhood, yet all surrounding areas seem to have it.
