Seriously? Yes you can. Gold is mostly worthless (imho, anyhow).

If you plan to fly AA anymore (with any regularity) I'd pony up for the Plat challenge and go from there. Worst case, you don't fly AA that much, at least you get a soft landing to Gold next year. Just a thought.

Believe me, I'd give anything to be living in Texas right now! Well, maybe not anything. I wouldn't give up my little booboola or my MissTeenBrit (even though she can be a pain in the rear end because she is a teenager after all). Talking of that - hmmm. I just had a thought @:-)@:-). The Town Mayor is a teacher in her High School. He teaches woodshop. Maybe I should get her to mosey on down to the woodshop and hold his n*ts in a vice until he calls the inspector and tells him to give me the go ahead ..:-:

True, so very, very true ...

That's the thing... if I'm not really going to use the miles, I might as well just book with Aerosur and not earn miles. It's just a hard thing to do. :D

Are we using the same FM for the Penalty Box for 2010 or is there a new one?

Let me know if you do figure out why we live here... I am actively seeking a way out. :-:

well, you could always do what I did with my Etihad FF miles (I'll probably never fly Etihad again)....spend them on durable goods ....

I got a cool rollaboard suitcase, a leather Porsche wallet and 3 pairs of Italian socks for Mr.Brit.....:D:D:D

Sounds a little like my day. I'm sitting in the client's conference room right now, doing an office sweep every 15 minutes or so, hoping someone will have a question. As I said before, today is just an upgrade training, so once the actual training session is over and the initial questions answered, it can get a little tedious.

The chair I had in here was old and was killing my back after two days of sitting in it. So they brought me another chair. This one has good back support but the seat cushion is rock hard. Now I'm feeling pain in another part of my body.

Aerosur does make the trip far more interesting in some ways.

I see some props in there as well.

I expect to see a lot of ERJs this year, thanks to CO's massive reduction in mainline service to ATL.

Yep propjobs too.

actually, there is quite a lot of building going on in my part of NJ. Many folk are putting additions onto their homes instead of moving, and so the good builders are quite busy.

That's also an issue for us. We (or rther my GC) keeps scheduling the things he needs to schedule (the excavators, the stone deliveries, the framers, etc.) and then he keeps having to cancel out on them. It is very frustrating because I'm worried that when the time finally comes to need the framers, they'll be off doing something else and we'll have to wait in line for them. More delays!
