WWTBD ~

1. LAS-IAH-LGA for $129 a/i
2. LAS-EWR for $135 a/i

The flights arrive +/- 30 mins of one another and, with LGA being closer, the door-to-door time is a wash. Normally, I would take the connection and extra 400 miles but I will be checking 2 bags.

SkyTeam USA has a cheaper non-stop ($120) but they are on my  list.

Miles win every time.

Well ya' do get mo' miles for 2, but isn't the IAH-LGA upgrade notoriously difficult? I know that in the main forum there are every so often a few whines about missing EUA on LAS-EWR, but I have not heard them with too great a frequency and/or force.

Depends on the flight. This is a very bi-polar route in terms of EUA's.

I've been on this route with empty seats in F and I've been in the mid 20's on the EUA list as a Plat on a refundable fare. Go figure.

Yeah, I brought it up because earlier this year, I was on a CO "U" fare LGA-IAH, and was like No. 12 on the U/G list. It is actually out of all my flights this year on any airline, the only U/G I missed.

What's the difference between a golf ball and a Cadillac Escalade?

Tiger Woods can drive one at least 300 yds staying clear of the trees.

What did the Woods family do for Thanksgiving?

Went clubbing.

Okay, I'll stop now.

If you are going to cheat on your wife.....why would you text message the girlfriend from your phone?

I'm disappointed that Tiger seems to have played around for quite some time now. He's lucky his wife didn't hit him in the head with one of those clubs she used to open the windows with.

Speaking with a "NC Bias" here, the same reason that you run for President and play around on your cancer stricken wife because at some point, perhaps you think the "rules" don't apply?:td:

The upgrade percentage to/from LGA will also likely be higher.
