Morning Box!

My new passport arrived yesterday, so I am a bit more relaxed now :) However, in true government efficiency - they sent the new passport, and said that I would receive two more packages: the passport card, and the old passport.

You'd think they could send it all together, but that would be far too efficient and economical.

I watched part of the TxTech / MSU game as well as one of the prison specials on MSNBC. Got up early as intended and on the way to Gatlinburg after a nice Hyatt breakfast.

Good Morning Box.

Very rude kick in the butt back to reality today.

48 hours ago - Malaysia, sunny 90F
Now - Hoboken NJ, wind chill 3F

Uggghhh.

Still -13 windchill. Brrrr. Other than walking the dog, I predict I'll be a hermit for the day. Started with the laundry.

I've rarely taken the amenity as food/beverage - I take the points and provide my own. No choice internationally ...

Wind's making highway driving interesting - headed west and getting a little "lift". And just stopped at gas station with credit card uplink blown off building

Morning, Box. Waiting on breakfast to be delivered. :D

Later Box. Just checked the fridge. Contents - two bottles of beer, 1/4 stick of butter and assorted packets of condiments. I guess I'll have to face the arctic tundra, I need food.

No worries - still had a wallet of cash from a few Trump-branded casinos in Atlantic City. As I was projecting two more stops en route, only filled up halfway - don't want to forgo too many double rebates ob credit card.

As an overly-prepared emergency responder, I would have declared a food shortage a month ago.

My oxymoronic reasoning is forcing me to bake up the last of the Christmas cookie dough I have in the fridge so I can eventually start to eat healthier.

Two quick points:
A. I structured my diet / calorie intake such that I can eat whatever I want in the evenings (usually healthy at home).
B. Cookies can be shared.

Well, ya can't start eating better until the other stuff is gone anyway. And it's not a good thing to waste food.

So to help, you can send the cookie dough to:
