All belated Economics homework turned in and commented upon by professor. It would seem that I nailed the final that I was complaining about earlier. I should see the grade in the next 24 hours or so. With that, I'm shutting it down.

I went in tonight to work an overnight shift.. to find out I've been fired.

I get why they do what they do with regards to termination - but jeeze, having me drive in at 11pm to hand me payout and send me packing? I hated the job so i likely fully deserved it - just annoyed.

Bleh, maybe i'll use the cash to buy a last minute fare somewhere. First time i've been fired though, so considering it's the day after my 27th birthday i'd say that's not too shabby of a record.

agreed on the record, endings are just new (and better) beginnings, a$$wipes on their methods and flying is good

I just rewatched Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog yesterday and for some reason the little part where he's talking to Penny and says "I could never imagine anyone ever firing you!" and she replies "Yeah, after the last few times, I can visualize it pretty clearly" resonated with me.

C'est la vie.

So.. clicking round the 'net I found one of those silly personality tests.. this one entitled the "Why do other people hate you?" test.

Turns out i'm "The Perfect Human" and according to my results others are jealously plotting my demise as we speak.

When our daughters were born, my third thought, after "Isn't she beautiful" and "Yep -- 10 fingers and 10 toes" was "thank goodness we don't have to do a bris."

We did have the number of the "mohel to the stars" in NYC just in case when our first one was born.
