Performance reviews are nothing more than a way for HR (or one's managers, or both) to feel like they have coverered themselves nicely in an occasionally sensitive area should a lawsuit be forthcoming. And did you respond by saying that you didn't like the people at work because they are too busy socializing and not actually working? I'm guessing that if one is peeling a lemon or lime and needs to remove the white pith stuff, the answer on how to do so would be "very carefully". It's not a guarantee that said gunk will come off in the peeling process.

I am somewhat despondant to learn that the RAM I ordered for my work laptop is DOA. I figured I might have some issues ordering RAM from eBay but the seller feedback was good and I figured the cost savings might be worth the risk. Apparently not. :rolleyes:
Now I get to start the RMA process which I'm sure will make me want to cast myself into the Gorge of Eternal Peril™. |
I am further despondent to find out that our apartment complex requires 60 days notice to move out, meaning we will owe an extra month and a half worth of rent for a place where we will not be living. The :rolleyes: just keeps on coming...
