Vikings running up the score. Interesting. Not a particularly classy move.

I don't think so. They went to a 4 down offense and dallas did nothing. What were they supposed to do, punt? Dallas should stop being an embarrassment to pro-football.

Kick the field goal. It was well within range and there was no need to go for it at that point.

Stongly disagree.

This is not college football where you definitely can say that something like that applies. This is a place where each player needs to prove himself on every play and who knows what great play will influence a better contract for next year.

I do think that colpuck and I are on the same page here. :)

That would have been a lock for points. At least with calling a play on 4th down gave Dallas a chance to stop them. I don't think the vikings really expected to come up with points on that play. It wasn't the vikings fault that Dallas decided to quit.

Later Box, heading out into rain to meet some friends in the city for drinks and dinner.

I'm on the same page, although I stated a 62-7 DAL loss wouldn't displease me last week. That defense makes over $30 million a year to stop the offense of their competitor.

did not make the green bean casserole in the end. When I looked up the recipe I didn't like the sound of it.

So, I made sauteed green beans with shallots, garlic, red and yellow bell peppers, a dash of raspberry wine vinegar (I did not have any white wine vinegar, so just used what I had in the pantry!) and a sprinkling of chopped pecans. I made it up. It was delicious.
