I'm not traveling too much between now and 31-Mar but I'll check the SkyClubs.

There was a rather large stack just sitting on a table in the SFO Red Carpet Club yesterday. It was a sight of beauty.

I love side-by-sides, too, Baglady. You are not alone. We, obviously, are the only ones in the Box who are of the right mind...... everyone else is delusional. :D

Imagine how fun it is for those months that all CO flies into MSP is ERJs. Those 1000+ mile ERJ flights to EWR and IAH are the definition of :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Tell me! I did EWR-MSP last week on an ERJ. Bleugh! At least I had two seats to myself.

You got lucky with weather -- it broke about an hour after I got home mid afternoon.

Life, as we know it, was about to end based on 5 pm news. Arks were recommended...

Glad you're ensconced in the hotel. Don't think I've ever stayed in a Homewood Suites - thoughts?

I need to leave home in about 2.5 hours to drive down to PHL to do my MR tomorrow. Do I try to nap for 2 hours now, or just tough it out and sleep on the PHL-IAH flight?

I normally try to go for 12A if stuck on those flights.

Of course, the optimal route coming from EWR on CO is via the hublet. It's only 622 miles on the ERJ from there.

I will visit a bunch of RCCs on 5-Feb to investigate. With UA, I have to drink on the plane (rather than Lounge) don't I?

Ugh...that sounds early :(

I'm a fan of sleep in any way, shape or form. Airplane sleep on domestic planes does not leave me in a good mood.

If napping, I would set both the alarm clock and the cell phone alarm ...

2 hours are always not enough for me. YMMV... :(

Some nights I only get 2 hours - better than nothing.

And what happened with the OCC? ;)

That's what I do...only time I set the cell phone alarm is as a backup for morning flights when I can't afford to miss it.

In hotels, I'll go triple option with Blackberry, portable alarm clock and wake-up call.

Now, I am going to bed for full night sleep (sorry Brit).

I am under one week before first flights of 2010 (finally).

2 hours of sleep means I'll be in an absolutely miserable state the next day and you don't want to see me. I'm not a pleasant person to be around for the first hour I'm awake, but even more so if I haven't gotten at least 6 hours of sleep.

I was itching to fly until I got on my A319 on Saturday. It felt good to get the first legs down for the year (though for the past 3 years, I have encountered irrops on the return of my first trip of the year ). At least all resolved itself each time with me getting home that same night ^
