The  might drive me to that bottle of Woodford sitting on my counter.

Or do I crack open an Anchor Steam instead?

Almighty Box, help me decide.

Booking positioning flight for SEA-NRT trip(12/22-departs 11:50a)

Leaving from RDU(12/21) go through EWR or IAH?
Cost are about the same(waited too late and they are getting $$)
3 departures from each hub-will not be on the last from either

Worried about weather, a bit more, this time of the year-though just as likely to have a blizzard in either I guess

It's been far too long since I've been to New Orleans...there needs to be a DO down there sometime sooner than later.

We (LADYnola), my Impersonal Analog Assistant (IAA's are better than PDA's) & I would be glad to help put it together.

Here are the 3 of us on Mardi Gras morning.

I'd lean IAH, just since IAH-SEA seems an easier upgrade than EWR-SEA. Plus, RDU-IAH-SEA nets more miles than RDU-EWR-SEA.

+1. Also, if weather is a concern, IAH is less likely to have winter issues at that point than EWR potentially may.

SuperG1955 was kind enough to let me play with his toys, one of which I will be purchasing at first possible convenience. It only took me about 400 rounds to figure out what a superior product Glock produces.

CM just fell in love with Baby Glock. When he put the Kahr P380 in his hand it disappeared.

We did have a fun time.

It's not DEQM any longer on that date, right? If you don' need the EQM difference for Plat, the chance of serious IAH weather is far less than for EWR by Dec.

NO way B6 would put a hub there, IMO. They like being closer to the coasts.

Heck, they keep cutting our planes from 767's to 757's and I've even seen some 88's on the MCO-ATL route. MCO-NYC can't support more than a few DL M88's each day.

You don't need to have the hub at LAS or MCO. Strong feed and reasonable routing structures can cover all manner of other issues. And not require basing the entirety of your operations on a highly fickle leisure market.

Plus those are the first markets that new entrants come in to since the loads are there, especially if you price the flights cheap enough. So you're constantly watching you arse rather than pushing forward and growing.

I remember seeing youtube videos of 764's doing ATL-MCO. That was silly. No need to send a widebody on a ~ 1.5 hour flight.

Ummm...you put the plane on the route that has the capacity to meet the demand. You also use widebodies on short routes like that between their long-haul runs to improve fleet utilization numbers.

All the carriers do it to some extent, and both the carriers and the customers benefit.
