Very nice ^. I am currently assessing my *Gold options for next year:

(a) Match DL Plat to BD Gold. Plus side is free access to PCs/RCCs on *A metal. Downside is no access to LAS PC when on DL metal :(. Though I wouldn't object to flying UA via ORD and 5 other cities for this.

(b) Match DL Plat to CO Plat. Kinda meh on this option, as I don't want to burn my match to CO at the age of 24.

(c) Segment running on UA. Currently a 2P and requalified for next year. Can buy PC membership at DL Plat price ^. Have E+ as well for next year. Could get 1P for around $350 (8 segments x DEQS, plus hotel for MR).

Thoughts Box?

Which will you easily renew next year? I figured I could renew BD and SkyTeam USA with not much trouble (thanks to rollover).

Depends. I applied for a different role at Large Electronics Retailer the other day which would have a good bit of travel involved. Should I be lucky enough to get it, I will easily requalify Delta Plat next year (since Delta is our primary carrier) and could easily make mid-tier on another airline without any sort of Double EQM promotions (and throw in Double EQMs for three months and I could hit top tier on any of those).

BD *G would be very easy to requalify at 38k EQMs annually. 1K doing crazy UA routings isn't out of the question without any DEQS/DEQM.

Just remember that BD doesn't have a program year, per se. They use a rolling membership year. (c) might be worth it, too, if your schedule permits.

That's the one thing I'm wary of with (c) - I'm basically down to one weekend left before DEQS ends, as I'm traveling every weekend the rest of the year save one. Plus, it might be nice to spend one weekend at home between now and 2010.

The rolling membership year is a small concern, but there's a slim chance I can make 1K by this time next year - if that happens, then I don't mind paying the $325/yr for RCC membership (as that's what I pay right now for SkyClub, and I might end up at Diamond next year with free lounge membership).

Isn't hard to find TAMPONs at all, is it? Although the fourth segment on the return is a pain I would have to manipulate. Can someone remind me of the BNA itinerary for comparison purposes (e.g. "not staging")?
