They are not allowed to do that now, actually got a small fine for it sometime earlier this year as I recall.

I know CO got nailed for it, but did that ruling affect BA's ability to run an ad in the States?

JUST KIDDING!! Although there are some who think it's the ticking "big one." Anyway, good night, Box.

I just inserted Box-esque humor into the DXB thread. :o

I have about 1/3 that quantity on my desk at the moment.

Very cool - wish I lived in EWR (although I have a commitment early Saturday morning).

I could win some if I would listen to the phone calls / deal with the e-mails ... But I can't.

Ah, yeah. Both are certainly understandable. This is why the good lord gave us Google Voice numbers that can be routed to nothing and e-mail filters. :D

The scientific case for supervolcanic events is pretty well documented. If something like the Island Park Caldera eruption of 2.2M years ago were to happen again, the result for much of the U.S. would be pretty grim. Considering the geological record, it's more a question of "when," not "if." Yellowstone's last big blow was 640,000 years ago. The most recent supervolcanic events there have been spaced at about 650,000 to 800,000 years, FWIW.

Haha, I read that. You left yourself open about six different ways in the update. Remember when I said that every ball thrown to me is a hanging curve?

Edited: I will not further embarrass you by repeating some of the passport and "puck" lines since you enabled me to sleep on the flight home. :-:
