Either that or can one of y'all monitor it and text me when/if a seat becomes available and I'll B-up myself....you will be compensated for your efforts with a  free day. ^

Unless they switch to a 764, it doesn't look like a good chance for an upgrade.

Been about three weeks since I did the lawn last (during the run of vacation) so I do expect this will be the last time for the year.

Hey sfogate, grab your ear plugs - Mrs. MBM3 and her cackling hens, errrr her close friends, are invading the bay area this weekend for a night on the town and a couple nights in sonoma. I can only imagine the decibel level that their driver will experience as she shuttles them around.....
:D

ExpertFlyer will alert but I'm not sure that it can monitor AN inventory which is what you'd need for the BUrP.

Exactly why I was looking for something like expertflyer (I had forgotten the name of it and didn't realize AN inventory couldn't be monitored). I'm hoping someone cancels a seat in F and I can B-up before the EUA run sticks someone else with either a B or a Y there first. I guess I'll just keep refreshing seatcounter every few hours and see if I get lucky. If not, at least I snagged the exit row window (non-reclining but at least there's extra  room)

Alrighty, airfare for Turkey Day jaunt, hotels, and car rental are booked. Much  to be found with airfare these days. I wound up doing three sets of one-way tickets with my wife going out a day before me in Y (US), then me going out the next day in F (UA), and both of us coming home together in F (UA). Her day before me departure in Y saved us $400. Thank the good lord for the UA HUP.

The planets have aligned and fares from the hublette have dropped to Vega$ so it looks like I may be able to meet my buddy from Sardegna and grab a meeting SFO afterwards.

I'm glad they're dropping somewhere. AUS is traditionally a place to get fairly cheap fares, especially in domestic F, but Turkey Day is crazy right now.

But, I am getting a new airframe type (CR7 ) and a new AUS - DEN line on the Flightmemory.

I'm not flying for Thanksgiving or Christmas this year.
