I'm glad they're dropping somewhere. AUS is traditionally a place to get fairly cheap fares, especially in domestic F, but Turkey Day is crazy right now.

This is just some random weekend - prices were at or over $400 for fri - mon.

that is unreal.

Thanks for posting this, looks like co.com released some fare buckets.

I scooped up a thanksgiving ticket to NYC for 219.2 a/i

^^

Congrats, I guess, FT Lurker... are you sure you don't want a more descriptive handle? :p

I just wanted to see if anyone else knew of one thread on FT with > 1.025M page views.

You might find some lost FTers coming here now that the generous RP competition is over (over for all except ConciergeMike)...

I haven't decided what I want to do during Thanksgiving...other than the usual heading over to Vegas.

So long Delta

Well, I got my "new" Delta Skymiles card in the mail today which contained the 2500 NW miles I had forgotten to cash in for those cool luggage tags. I called to have them merge that account with my old Skymiles account which had about 10K in it. The rep on the phone told me those miles had expired and I could have them back for $5:rolleyes:.00. Not worth it considering it's barely half of a Y ticket, and I don't see myself ever flying "The new Delta". I asked the rep if the fee could be waived since their competition doesn't expire miles and she gave me a heapin' helpin' of "NO".

So I told her to cancel both accounts, remove me from all Delta e-mail & snail-mail lists, and ensure I'm not called or contacted by them again. She followed that with "I guess you don't fly very much, huh".

Somehwere in the distance, a dog barked.

So long Delta.....I wish I could say it was nice knowing you....but....

Wow, talk about a group of winners. I am inclined to agree with Mike on this one, that is some hubris that leads to problems, like people named Steve never setting foot on their airline ever again.

While I am not expecting a CO F experience, the booking is mainly for the seat pitch so I'll actually fit on the aircraft. :)

Maybe she was looking at the international portion of your FM. ;)

Well, under the CO codeshare, I flew DL exactly one time around 2003 or so and when I realized that they wouldn't upgrade CO Plats and the flights didn't count at all towards EQP (the way I always re-qualified), there was no reason to go back. I flew NW a fair amount because of the easy seat in F and the sushi bar and very nice WC in DTW. With those no longer valid "perks", I see no reason to go back to them.....I've avoided DL for this long without a problem.

Yes not even as much as a CO exit row though!
