Sure, for 6-9 months of the year. But summers in Fairbanks can be hotter than summers in Houston, and quite humid. That part of Alaska is not necessarily cool in July and August.

So after being up late every night for a week, I can't sleep and with no posting to do I haven't a clue what to do with myself right now.
I did notice it's been 65 days since my last Citi AA credit pull so I did apply for two more cards. Need to call when the line opens and get the immediate approval, but that should be another 60K AA miles. Need ways to earn more *A or OW miles! |

I have something like 800 posts to read through to catch up, what with the 100kth post, but I did want to post something since I am on a train. Virgin Trains provides a rather slow T-Mobile service; it would be nice if Amtrak did this as well (without the rather slow part).
ssullivan, if no one has recommended *wood hotels in SF, I'd recommend the LM (former Park Hyatt). It is the nicest hotel I have stayed in for business; the location isn't great if you need to be near Union Square, but nothing is very far in downtown SF.
