ok I am in gripy mood now. Publix doesn't sell peppers right, I wanted to get 3 serrano, 4 jalapeno, 4 habenero and 3 scotch bonnets. At publix IS NOT POSSIBLE

they only sell meat containers filled with peppers (for a low price) but it is entirely too many. I had to settle for a package of serrano peppers instead of 3 I have about thirty!

It cost a $1.76 but I wanted varietal spicy peppers (they have varietal pack of sweet peppers)

This chili has two packs of HOT (their words) chili mix, not hot at all, 2 teaspoons of crushed scotch bonnet sauce, and a handful of serranos. It cooked up to be a very spicy blend. I love it.

For want of an HEB... :)

We are just different in TX, we like our peppers and I'd imagine here they don't have enough demand to do it that way, so they make people buy many of them to ensure they sell out and they don't go bad.

We could also bring in expert testimony on economic harm.

Even the Randalls here has a section with all sorts of dried peppers and whatnot.

But you already have a cupcake carrier for the $12 cupcakes on the go.

Can easily be converted to a stuffed biscuit carrier.

This weekend I might attempt a deep fried apple cinnamon stuffed biscuit. :-:

ETA: with all this talk of Canada I just put down "Canadian bacon stuffed maple biscuit" to my list of ones to try.

Next week is another Timmy Ho's week. Last time I had them for brekkie they burned my egg. How someone manages to burn an egg in a microwave is beyond me. I'm certain that laws of physics were violated.

Amen.

I could provide a riveting soliloquy on the absolute depravity caused by the inability to access quality bacon, or something.

I have found "Bar S" brand bacon to be especially yummeh... moreso than Blue Ribbon.

While I am certainly the cook in the family, Mrs. MBM3 wins the award for bacon cooking and her bagel sandwiches, a sunday morning tradition in the household. Seamus even gets a much deserved taste in his bowl.

I can't tell you the last time I had actual real bacon. It is one of the downsides of being a lardass. :(

Is this in the produce section? If so, and if it is in their packaging rather than 3rd party, they always used to have a policy of breaking up the pack and re-doing it to fit your quantities. Last time I really used that benefit was probably 15 years ago but my guess is that it still exists.

Inspector guy didn't even come in on Tuesday, and even if he comes in today, we won't be able to get them finally signed off until next Tuesday, so no digging for us next week. I am still extremely pi$$ed about this.

Poor you! Hope the permit gets approved soon & work can commence!^

Feb. is still a ways away -- so we will see how things work out!;):-:

Sometimes, i've seen F availability, J only opens up closer to departure when they don't think they will sell.
