Hah. That's pretty .

There was a gentleman sitting behind me on my flight to SNA a couple months ago who did almost my exact job for a competitor.

Needless to say, I didn't listen to my iPod while I ate breakfast as this a$$hat was trying to impress the person sitting next to him about all the wonderful and exciting things he was working on.

Being a "the third" is kinda cool, though it has really messed up some CO staff as the III is directly attached to my last name in their database (spaces or comma IS NOT POSSIBLE). I almost missed an OpUp to CDG when they tried to pronounce my name with 3 "eyes" at the end rather than "the third." Thankfully I figured it out!

haha that had to be funny!

It was a chuckle and the grey coat was mortified when I asked if she meant "the third." I have now learned "the look" when someone from CO is trying to read my name, whether it be gate agents or the F/A onboard. What is even funnier is that I use my first initial and that gets glued to my middle name, so it really throws them for a loop.

She pronounced it with one long "e" sound.

I have seen professors lay out all of their degrees after their name. One guy I now has ",BA, MA, PhD" after his name.

I have a certification that entitles me to letters, and I use it in one place and one place only: my resume. :-:

Loose lips sink ships, boys and girls. Especially, if one poster I'm thinking of is to be believed, when flying in the forward cabins on Air France.

Did I read somewhere that CO is actually giving compensation to people who had 739ER flights without LiveTV over the past few weeks? Any idea what the compensation is? I'm not normally one to complain about something so trivial, but if they're freely giving out miles or certs, I may consider shooting them an email. :o

Don't you think they have better stuff to work on down on Smith St.?
