Budweiser Select is actually drinkable.

Haven't gotten around to trying that one yet.

Considered Amtrak?

Amtrak cannot get me back to NYC early enough. I'm already booked into a hotel at DCA at a rather ridiculous $240/night and need to bo on one of those two 6am flights (or the 6:30DL to LGA) to get it right.

Just shredded my UA *A Silver card (valid through January 2010). I showed my supervisor the new BD *A Gold card with "Prof. icurhere2". She now wants help in procuring wallet candy.

The rebate was more than the beer, so I figured I could give it a go.

I've been helping a buddy book a honeymoon reward trip. He got confirmation yesterday on all the flights. The routing is rather strange - I'm shocked it was approved.

LGA-ORD-HKG-PEK (stopover) PEK-SIN-DPS (destination) DPS-BKK-IST-JFK.

He got it as a regular r/t reward rather than a RTW, even with one TPAC and one TATL. Interesting, no?

We took in The Blind Side tonight and really enjoyed it. ^^

Note to self - I need to book myself one of those.

Darn right shocking if you ask me.

I failed in my attempt to get an exec to 1K status. Still one more trip remaining in the year leaving exec short of 1K by 8,000 miles but with the upcoming holidays the exec did not want to travel as much and needing to spend time with family .

The Artic Club (Double Tree property) is an older property in the middle of downtown SEA. I think I mentioned it for IAHTraveler so that could be why. It is a historic hotel with a lot of charm. rooms are a little smaller but still nice.

If anyone is going to SEA, I give free tours (to box denizens) of the Museum of Flight.

We will take you up on that in August sometime around the weekend of the SeaDoo. ^
