I've had to stress to staff and coworkers not to talk outside of the office about projects we undertake for our clients. Fortunately, there have been a couple high profile cases to use as examples where the FBI got involved. I do a lot of merger, litigation and investigation work that involves information that can impact the stock markets much less the parties involved.
That being said, there is no reason to act like a self-important putz about it. |

This was a breach of Rolle Yes standard protocol. When security may be compromised, the solution is to hang up abruptly, then spend the next 10 hours drinking copious amounts of Riesling in LH F.
He sent his apologies for not being at the Mega DO, and spoke highly of us Fters and CO joining *A. |

I totally understand the privacy issue, but he could have just hung up the phone and not make a stink about it. He could have also asked the LH staff to send him in his own car if he needed to continue the conversation. The will accomodate such requests if you have a good enough reason.

She actually spent a good part of the flight speaking to an LH executive.

I used to work with someone who put ", BA" after his name. I'm not a huge fan of it for any degree, but at least have something beyond a standard four-year college degree if you do it.

I am still cringing at the hangover I experienced at the NYC mini-do a couple years ago. Mixing all of that vodka made for a LONG next day and flight home - thankfully I was smart enough to schedule a late flight home as I barely made it out of the W~A!

That reminds me, the rest of my UA segments posted and I now have enough miles for a domestic F reward for the next NYC/Box Do. :D

Good Morning B:rolleyes:x!
It is cold, wet and rainy in these parts for sure! Hope everyone is well. MBM3, saw "The Blind Side" myself. The character of Leigh Anne is not unlike the lovely Mrs. GTITAN. I don't know how many times that my lovely wife has gone off to do something (i.e. set someone straight (LOL)), and much like Tim McGraw's character, I just say to myself "Bless Me".:D |

Also, I'm not sure I'd say "the few nurses with BS degrees" as I am pretty sure the percentage of nurses with a bachelors degree (or higher) is more than the number of nurses with an associates degree. |

The only acceptable degree initials are doctorate degrees, PhD, MD, etc. Many people make the mistake of putting Dr. in front of their name such as Dr. Blankity Blank, PhD. It’s either Dr. Blankity Blank or Blankity Blank, PhD.
Pretentious? Improper? For me, "yes" to both. And what about attorneys who, upon obtaining their J.D., wish to be addressed as "Doctor"? Again, pretentious and improper, in my view. I have to deal with a guy who always answers the phone "Jim Smith, Lawyer." I'm tempted to ask for "Walker, Texas Ranger, please." |
