Nothing good yet. A couple FD-able fares to MUC but even that isn't good enough right now for me to justify. I'm going to need something <$450 a/i to be able to make a go of it.

+1 - although, I might be willing to go as high as $500. If the low fares don't come, we may need to postpone the official PRG DO.

And keep prospective new dates limited to email, to screen it from the prying eyes of Rev Mgmt Lurker :D

As someone who very much wants to see PRG and cannot justify it currently, I would very much like to see it get put off. If It were affordable, I would go.

There is always 2011. Although, we'll probably select a different destination unless PRG doesn't work at any point in 2010.

It's been a while since the last ALCO weather report. Perhaps enough snow has fallen and he is now outside making snow :rolleyes:s?

Have a great weekend, box.

I've got JFK-BCN on 30 DEC. Not sure what the current booze rules are on DL for TATL (i.e. if I need them or not) but I'll toss my hat into the ring.

Some parts of the Hyatt Regency's roof have about 4". Nothing is really sticking on the ground. There are a few frosty patches here and there, and any exposed cars have a good coating. Most of the sticking accumulations are outside Downtown proper, beyond the heat island. Saw an iphone photo sent in by one of the Secretary's kids showing 2" on the ground on the East side of town just before noon. It has not stopped snowing yet, but should in the next hour or two.

Highest reported accumulation total I had seen for the area was 4" somewhere about two hours ago (Hobby airport had reported an inch by then). Would not be surprised if an isolated spot or two had 6"+ by the time it is all over.

Is there someone else from the Box going to BCN on those dates? I seem to remember it being fozz +1, but I'm not sure.

Are these numbers for accumulations on the grass or are roads in the area actually being covered as well?

Ok, driving down to SAT for the evening. Will hit 5,000 from there.

OMG - Just got the following IM from a friend

A friend sends mom and step father an email with pictures attached. Step father opens it and then mom sends the following email to her 40 yr old son:

****** This is graphic in nature, please keep the kids away!!!! *****

Son you sent us some "other" pics besides us from Thanksgiving. It appears the meat was well tenderized! "

Talk about an ackward Family Christmas.

Grassy areas and rooftops only. IIRC, Bridges/Overpasses/Elevateds are only supposed to start freezing over... right about now. Most businesses Downtown have sent home workers who live out in the burbs already. It's a bit of a ghost town down here. We've just got a skeleton-crew staff in the office here right now.
