BCS game is starting to look a little better.

I got caught in traffic earlier today. There was more  than normal on the freeways here.

An inch of snow is indeed enough to cripple Philadelphia, given their well-known  approach to such things.

Are we expecting a snowstorm up this way around PHL again? A school in Camden just announced a delayed opening.

Several of my southern friends (BTR, GA, etc.) have already had school cancelled for tomorrow because of "excessive cold". Now, I dislike the cold as much as anyone (except for some of you crazy polar bears in here), but 36/17 without snow/ice seems a little wimpy.

This video of the TSA guy in EWR.....seems that is actually CO corp video, as the TSA videos were found to not be working!!

And apparently the security breach was some  wanting to say goodbye to his girlfriend.

I ordered the remaining nonfiction titles on my B&N list and have scheduled an event that is almost as rare as an End of More sighting. Sometime in the next few months, I will indeed pick up a work of fiction. I usually read one or two of those a year, and the one I ordered will make two already this year. I'm currently reading the ghostwritten Richard Castle novel that grew out of the TV series.

No kidding. My 81-year-old grandmother who thinks 77 and sunny is 'too cold' is surviving just fine.

Texas keeps looking like they have a chance but then faltering or squandering the opportunities. Decent showing for a true freshman QB though.

Does anyone have experience with TKTS on a Sunday afternoon (for a Sunday evening show)? How are the lines? Which location is likely to have the smallest crowd?

The one at Fulton St, if it's still there has shorter lines and opens up hours earlier than Times Square.

on the extended video I gave up before seeing this, it was too long...well the guy was standing there for a LONG time, I did not see exaclty how long but quite a while for sure.

At one point he was standing in front of the TSA guy, then the TSA guy went and talked to him and he walked behind the barrier, and I guess later he came across.

The onside kick proves that point...

BTW, are you going to be in HNL in Feb.? I think we discussed but you may not have confirmed everything yet.

And we worry about Islamic fundamentalist extremists, while in truth a jagoff from New Jersey can cripple the system too. [/TS&S]

It *IS* wimpy!

I am happy to be home from the frozen tundra.

DEN Pclub was having  wireless today.

2 folks in DEN Pclub having a conversation that shouldn't have been for public consumption.

I had amazing FAs on my DEN-IAH flight including one who made incredibly humerous announcements, but not in a corny WN way.

I am *SO* happy to be home, did I mention that already? :)

The hublet contingent will understand why I, as a native Clevelander, find it ridiculous that there are school delays for an inch of snow, and schools are cancelled for 4". However, given the state of plowing around here, I'm happy that they are prudent about putting my kids on the bus or the roads.

That's a tease. ;)

I just edited to say so, don't know if you saw it: I'm reading the Nikki Heat book. Great trashy lightweight flying read. ^^
