Nope, but I don't think Ina's sprouts look that bad.

Agreed, and I am far from British. :p

I will say that a group of us food and beverage folks were judging a local high school culinary competition and were blown away how good one team cooked the brussel sprouts. :D

Wow! I could do his job with zero training. How can I I get a job like that?

That $100 is about a weeks worth of food.

Well your hair is the same color as theirs and you have a Welsh last name. Close enough for most people in this Country.

brussels cooked well are divine; cooked badly are, I heartily agree, disgusting

I do mine in a varietyof ways. Sometimes I like them lightly steamed, so that they are still bright green and crispy; sometimes I saute them with bacon; other times I saute them with almonds and a touch of honey; sometimes I will make a brussels puff (a sort of souffle - sounds disgusting, but it really, really is good).

this is really funny. The potatoes really do look very unappetizing; but, I love fingerling potatoes and mine, when roasted, do not look like that!

icurhere2 is part Welsh - that largely because icurhere2 is part everything (his last name is from Yorkshire).

Brituchenite Dec 18, 2009 4:24 pm

I finally applied for the spg AMex card. Was approved online in seconds and the card will be here in 3 biz days. Just in time to do my last minute Christmas shopping!

Yep in TX, it is one thing to be seen as the 'responsible one' and watch the class a couple times, it is another when the professor starts having students hand you their papers and read them to find problems, and am the reference for all complex issue answers because he did not know the subject at hand.
the digital arts class was specifically

I'm a Yorkshire gal! I was born and raised until I was 21 in a small village in East Yorkshire. Spent my childhood on the east coast beaches.
