Obviously I'm kidding around - but I am not the most prolific poster in the history of time. :)

(see? I'm making an effort here to wrachet my count up! :D)

My F/A on MSP-MEM didn't know what Woodford was - I had to refer to it as "the bourbon".

Fortunately he redeemed himself by making sure I didn't leave the plane without my pockets full of minis. Hence, I now have 6 minis of Woodford to take with me ^^^

At least he redeemed himself quite well. Free minis of Woodford might mean a compliment letter to DL. ^

Off to a MEM-BOS flight now. Let's all hope (for my sake) that the E-175 is well-stocked.

Ma and Pa go to the ballet

Ma and Pa go to the ballet

Last night, I took BL JR to the Houston Ballet for the Nutcracker. After enjoying a pre ballet drink (water for her; champagne for me), we went to our seats. In the box next to us were Ma and Pa kettle out for the night. Ma had on *WAY* too much bad perfume. This was only made worse by the fact that she started sweating profusely and then fanning herself, so the swill smell came even stronger my way.

During the performance, PA put his feet up on the front of the box, a la bulkhead.:rolleyes:

Ma not Pa did not seem to know how to applaud. I'm not saying you have to clap for everything, but part of a performance is enthusiasm. Ma and Pa had neither. They stayed in their seats during intermission (fine, but strange) while BL JR and I enjoyed a snack and drink (same as pre only with cookies added) at our table.

I have no idea why they even attended; they seemed to be  and I'm only guessing the tix were given to them and they felt obligated or attended with others (though zero interaction, including between ma and pa).

That is all.

Oh and  to DL for making me schlep out to B39 for said BOS flight and forcing me to get exercise.
